Project Highlights:
Concept Description
Somalia is emerging from 28 years of political instability and economic hardships. According to the current World Bank statistics, more than 2 in 3 Somalis live under the poverty line
Based on that, Hasene International organization launched Micro live project in Mogadishu and a round region namely “Shop Cart Micro live project”.
The project helps the small business owners, particularly the hawkers that are struggling to feed their families, to access source of income for their families. Therefore, Hasene organization has funded more than 7 “Mobile Shop Cart” for small business hawkers. Small amount of money is donated to the hawkers in order to boost their small business.
Key Activities
The content of micro live project of Shop Cart is as follows
- Mobile cart: the mobile cart is navigable cart where people can exhibit their products, materials and navigate beside the streets, villages and town
- Shopping clothes: the clothes they need to resell.
