Orphan Support Initiative

Project Highlights:

Concept Description

With the support and donations from Donors, the Horyal Humanitarian Foundation (HHF) is actively supporting approximately 1,686 orphans across various regions in Somalia. This initiative provides each orphan with an average monthly support, aimed at ensuring their basic needs and educational tuition are covered.

Regional Distribution of Beneficiaries:

1) Benadir Region: 900 orphans

2) Villages beside the Shabelle River: 466 orphans

3) Kismayo Region: 100 orphans

4) Lower Shabelle: 250 orphans

This program seeks to:

Provide financial aid to children who have lost their families due to Somalia’s ongoing harsh circumstances.

Ensure a sustainable monthly budget is allocated for their living expenses.

Support the education of these orphans by covering tuition fees, helping them build a brighter future and enhancing their:

  1. Provision of Basic Needs
  2. Access to Education
  3. Reduction in Vulnerability
  4. Community Stabilization
  5. Long-Term Development Impact
  6. Promotion of Philanthropy

The Orphan Support Initiative by the Horyal Humanitarian Foundation (HHF), with the support of Donors, has had a substantial and positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children in Somalia. The monthly support ensures that the children have access to food, clothing, and other essentials. This reduces the financial burden on families or caregivers and improves the overall quality of life for these children.
