Project Highlights:
Overview
Horyal Humanitarian Foundation’s Food Packages Campaign is a vital initiative conducted during the holy month of Ramadan, aiming to provide essential food support to vulnerable communities in Somalia. This campaign focuses on three key areas:
- Dry Food Distribution: Delivering packages containing staple foods to families in need.
- Wet-Feeding Centers for Iftar: Establishing centers to provide cooked meals for breaking fast.
- Emergency Food Aid Distribution: Offering immediate food assistance to those in crisis situations.
Key Activities
The Food Packages Campaign has significantly impacted thousands of lives across Somalia:
Supported internally displaced persons (IDPs) residing in over 300 camps across various regions, including Kismayo, Abdudwak, Jowhar, Baidoa, Mogadishu, and surrounding areas.
Distributed essential household supplies, including:
- 12kg of rice
- 12kg of flour
- 10kg of sugar
- 3 liters of cooking oil
Ensured families in need received sustenance, fostering hope and dignity during the sacred month of Ramadan.
Through the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers, the Horyal Humanitarian Foundation continues to bring relief and hope to vulnerable communities. Together, we can extend this support and reach even more families.
