Overview
The MicroLive Project launched in Somalia is about empowering needy youth and women in Somalia by given them with the profitable tools, materials.
The objectives of the micro live project of Sewing Machines and Tailoring Accessories are:
- The proposed initiative is to support those women struggling the lives of their families
- Contribute the skills and resources needed to establish small tailoring businesses.
- Equipped them with sewing machines and necessary and
- A chief economic independence and cover their lives.
Key Activities
The key activities of the Micro Live Project of Sewing Machines and Tailoring Accessories are
- Sewing Machines: High-quality sewing machines that allow them to start their tailoring work at home or in small communities.
- Tailoring Accessories: In addition to the sewing machines, the needy women receive a scissors, measuring tapes, buttons, needles, threads.
- Clothing Materials: Fabrics and other necessary materials are supplied to help the women kick-start their tailoring services and create garments for local markets
- Enhance the local economies through the provision of producing clothing and textiles.
- attain self-dependency and improve their quality of life.

The impact of the project
Sewing Machines and Tailoring Accessories throughout micro live project offered needy and unemployed women to sustainability and means to earn an income, support their families against their basic needs, while contribute to the local economy through supplying clothes and skills. The provision of Tailoring is a essential skill to the community, by providing the right tools, these women can produce clothing for their communities, expand their businesses, and improve their livelihoods.
This initiative not only strengthens the financial stability of women but also fosters a sense of dignity and self-reliance as they work towards better futures for themselves and their families and this will reflect the entire community throughout the districts/villages.
Through the MicroLive Project’s support, these vulnerable women have been provided valuable opportunity that they can bass through the cycle of poverty.
By given sewing machines, and tailoring accessories, the project enables them to start their own businesses, increase their income, and improve their standard of living. This initiative helps them build a more secure future for their families and strengthen their social and economic standing within their community.
